A joint project of the Slovak Organization for Space Activities and the Valašské Meziříčí Observatory, within which we organized several promotional and educational events, workshops, exchange activities and launched the SP-VONT-1 stratospheric balloon.
The aim of the project was to increase the intensity and scope of cooperation between various entities in the field of research, development, education and industry. An important goal of the project was also the creation, stabilization and maintenance of a cross-border internet database of results and procedures obtained in joint stratospheric experiments. The project also implemented promotional and educational activities, especially among young people.
The project was co-financed by the program Interreg V-A Slovak Republic – Czech Republic, Small Projects Fund.
